Thomas Jones Jr.
Thomas Jones Jr. has successfully made the transition from shooting jumpers and making moves in the paint to making moves in the world of music. The 46-year-old Atlanta native is now an integral member of the LoveFlight Production family.

With influences such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Rev. James Payton, he is bound to make his mark in more than one way.
Thomas began playing the bass guitar at age 8, by age 12 he was assembled a 12 piece band and had become fluent in lead guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, acoustic and electric guitar as well as drums. The amazing fact is that Thomas is self-taught. Having been born into a musical family with a father who was a jazz singer and an Aunt who was also an entertainer, it was only a matter of time before the bug would bite Thomas.
Thomas’ talent goes beyond what he is capable of with his music. He was once a much sought after basketball player who received offers from many big-time collegiate rograms including Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Morris Brown College and Morehouse College. He became an NBA pro prospect. Whenever he was not on the court, he was hanging out with musicians. Many of those same musicians such as Larry Blackmon and others from the group Cameo became lifelong friends as well as fans of his music.
A knee injury ended his basketball career but opened doors for Thomas to pursue his passion for music. The composer, producer, writer, and above all an entertainer started his own label, “Above Records Entertainment” in order to help other struggling artists. Thomas remains guided by strong Christian beliefs which are evident in his everyday walk. While there are many talented people in the world, few have the total package. Thomas is well-rounded in his musical abilities, soul qualities, technical ingenuity, spiritual beliefs, and his ability to bring out the PURITY of music.
His first CD entitled “You’re the One for Me” (2005) received great reviews across the Nation. Thomas has plans to expand his label and help other artists. He said he signed with LFP in 2008 because he was impressed with how the business was run. Thomas also recently signed with Muzak Corporation, which provides music for doctor’s offices, grocery stores, elevators, Gap and even McDonalds. “My music is played all over the country.
When not in the studio, performing, or composing, Thomas can be found teaching guitar lessons, reading the bible, exercising or enjoying his favorite lasagna or peach pie or spending time with his wife of three years Connie.
Thomas established “Thomas Jones Smooth Jazz Hour (Radio Show): In September of 2007 program produced by LFP Media. The show plays the BEST INDIE Jazz, Neo-Jazz, Neo-Soul, Standard Jazz, and Poetry from local and indie artist. It will be moving to BlogTalklradio.com and RadioFreeDaytona.com in June and is currently in Syndication. June also marks the beginning of the “The Thomas Jones Smooth Jazz Hour Video Show” which will feature the same talents in a television format and will also consist of interviews, movie, and book reviews.
